Sacramento Adult Soccer League

SASL mission is to enable competitive recreational adult soccer to promote health and well-being in an environment of inclusion, equality, diversity, and intercultural understanding.
    
    SASL invites the public to participate in League Play Soccer. Anyone can join an existing team or form a team pending needs, skills and desire to play soccer.  Please visit our online bulletin board to exchange information with existing teams or look for players, or check out the references on this page to join with your own team.  SASL provides activities for players to achieve significant health benefits in a safe and competitive environment.  Healthy and fit individuals help not only themselves, their families and others in their community but also serve as good examples of healthy lifestyles.  For our older players, healthy exercise and lifestyles is especially important. The SASL currently has over 400 players in their 50s, 60s, and 70s.  SASL provides activities which encourage the core values of equality, diversity, inclusion as well as the promotion of intercultural understanding.  SASL is comprised of individual players and teams from diverse cultural backgrounds, including North, Central and South America, Eastern, Central and Northern Europe, the British Isles, the Middle East, the Pacific Islands to South and East Asia.  SASL encourages our teams and players, their families and friends to socialize and get to know each other after matches by either watching the match following their own, or sharing food in a picnic-like atmosphere.
